Who we are
Tap Terminal is developed by Dennon Developments, a sole proprietorship operated by Kody Dennon.
What we collect
- Sign in with Apple identifier (for account management)
- Feature usage counters (opt-out, anonymous, aggregated)
- Crash reports via MetricKit (opt-out)
- Audit events for team members (session lifecycle, file transfers)
- In-App Purchase receipts (for entitlement verification)
What we never collect
- Terminal contents
- Passwords or SSH private keys
- Command history (unless you sync via iCloud)
- Location, contacts, photos, or browsing history
Why we collect
Authentication, sync, and billing. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data.
Who we share with
- Apple — authentication (Sign in with Apple) and payments (App Store)
- Cloudflare — backend hosting and CDN
- No analytics vendors. No ad networks.
How long we keep it
- User accounts: 30-day soft-delete after deletion request, then hard-delete
- Audit logs: per team policy (30, 90, or 365 days)
- IAP receipts: 7 years (accounting and tax requirements)
- Backend error logs: 30 days
Your rights
Export, delete, correct, or restrict your data at any time. Email privacy@tapterminal.dev or use the in-app account management tools.
International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global edge network. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) cover EU data transfers.
Children
Tap Terminal is for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Sign in with Apple provides age-gating.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not track users across other apps or websites. No ATT prompt is required.
